The Great Pumpkin Giveaway on behalf of the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank! 13th Annual McKenzie Towne Sobeys and 1st year at Cranston Sobeys
October 20th, 2012 from 9AM – Noon (or whenever we run out of pumpkins!)
*Bring your non-perishable food donations to receive a FREE pumpkin on October 20th!
Round up your bill at the till at both Sobeys locations all day (McKenzie Towne and Cranston) and the proceeds will go to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank.
The Calgary Food Bank guarantees certain items in every Emergency Food Hamper we distribute. Our Hampers reflect the nutritional guidelines of Canada’s Food Guide and contain one week of food for each person.
When we receive insufficient amounts of our guaranteed items through donations, we purchase them, to ensure the nutritional quality of our Hampers. The average cost of a Hamper for a family of four is $120.

Hamburger Helper
Canned beans in tomato sauce
Canned soup
Canned fish
Canned meat
