Ingredients
- 2 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shells, pricked
- 8 Slices processed cheese
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 Beef flavored bouillon cube
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 2 tablespoons flour
Preparations
Preheat oven to 4500 F. Bake pasty shell 8 minutes; remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 3500F. Cut 6 cheese slices into pieces. In large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat. Add tomato sauce, green pepper, onion and bouillon; cook and stir until bouillon dissolves. Remove from heat; stir in eggs, flour and pieces of cheese slices. Turn into prepared pastry shells. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until hot. Arrange remaining 2 slices cheese on top. Bake 3 to 5 minutes longer or until cheese slices begin to melt. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes two 9. pies.
